Unlike the AK infrantry rifle Rear Sights, standard Russian RPK Rear Sights don't have the Battle position since they are a squad automatic weapon meant to be fired from the bipod/prone position for usually longer distances than the infrantry rifle.
Note in photo the lack of the "Battle Bump" on the RPK Rear Sight Base Rail in comparision to the standard AK rifle Rear Sight Base
