Ready-to-install flattop upper receiver is forged from high-grade 7075 T6 aluminum alloy for exceptional strength to handle the battering from thousands of firing cycles, even with full-power military ammo. Precision CNC machined to final, mil-spec dimensions with tolerances of less than .001", so you can select the barrel, bolt assembly, carrier, charging handle, and other components that suit your specific needs. Standard .250" pivot and takedown pin holes ensure compatibility with a broad variety of lower receivers. Pre-installed forward assist and ejection port cover save you time during assembly. Includes integral shell deflector and 5½" long Picatinny accessory rail for maximum flexibility in mounting scopes, red dot reflex sights, and flip-up “iron” backup sights. Hardcoat anodized to MIL-A-8625 Type III Class 2 spec to ensure superb surface hardness, before application of a tough, commercial-grade Teflon® coating to resist the scratches, scuffs, and dings of hard competition or tactical use.
